Ginger Soy Salmon
Ingredients
1/2in ginger, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp honey
1lb salmon fillet
Instructions
Wash the salmon and place salmon on plate .
In a bowl, mix the ginger, soy sauce, oil, sesame oil, and honey.
With the salmon skin facing down, pour the sauce mixture over the salmon and flip the salmon. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
Heat an oiled pan on medium-high and add ginger.
Pour the salmon (with the salmon skin facing up) and the sauce mixture into the pan.
Cover and cook for ~5 minutes.
Flip the salmon so that the skin is facing down. Replace cover and cook an additional minute.
The salmon skin should now be easy to peel off.
Flip the salmon over and put the cover on for another 3 minutes.
