Ginger-Scallion Scallops
Ingredients
- 2 lb scallops
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp msg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp neutral oil
Instructions
- Pat down the scallops until they are dry on the surface.
- In a bowl, mix the scallops, flour, cornstarch, oil, and spices.
- Heat a generously oiled pan on high until the oil is smoking, then sear scallops for 2-3 minutes before turning for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add scallions, cook an additional minute, then serve immediately.
